Study Launch: "Private Tutoring in Romania: a Parallel or Complementary Educational System?"

What are the causes of the expansion of the phenomenon of private tutoring, what is its impact on the mass education system? Are the principles of ethics and deontology of teachers respected? And how can the current education system in Romania be made to deliver better quality education for all school children?

These are some questions we set out to investigate in a study, conducted by the Romanian Academic Society, together with the Romanian Institute for Evaluation and Strategy - IRES, with the support of Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Romania.

"Private Tutoring in Romania: a Parallel or Complementary Educational System?"
