CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS: Training Program for Young Trade Union Organizers

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Romania (FES Romania), in collaboration with UNI Global—the UNI Center for the Organization of Workers in Southeast Europe (UNI-SEEOC)—is organizing the third edition of the training program: “The Power of Trade Unions in Action: Strategies and Best Practices.”

The training is intended for young people active in trade unions who wish to learn and develop practical skills in union organizing, including strategies for recruiting and mobilizing members, identifying and developing the skills and abilities of union leaders, effective communication techniques, and the planning and implementation of union campaigns.

Over the course of two and a half days, participants will take part in practical sessions on union organizing, become familiar with the legal framework regarding worker representation and social dialogue in Romania, and explore examples of best practices.
