Invitation - Progressive debate series - Cities for All. Living in Bucharest - problems, challenges, solutions.

The Friedrich Ebert Foundation Romania organizes the series of debates "Cities for all", in which we aim to create, together with our guests, a progressive and inclusive vision of the main problems we are going through as a society in this period. We invite you to a new discussion in this series on October 27.

Health crisis. Geopolitical crisis. Economic crisis. The current model has shown its limits, generating increasing instability and precarity. The multiple crises we are going through make it urgent to rethink the social contract, the role of the state in the economy and the way of managing the problems we face. A new paradigm of thinking and action is needed at all levels, at European, national and local level. Solutions can only come from innovative and courageous political thinking, which proposes a review of the current model and solutions like business as usual.

In this context, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation Romania organizes the series of debates "Cities for all", in which we aim to create, together with our guests and the moderator Petre Florin Manole, a progressive and inclusive vision of the main problems we are going through as a society during this period.

We invite you to a new discussion in this series on October 27. Together with Bogdan Suditu and Cătălin Berescu we will discuss the problems related to living in Bucharest, but also about possible solutions.

The topic of housing can no longer be avoided - the increasing financialization of housing, the problem of costs but also of the quality of housing, from access to green spaces to urban infrastructure, are expanding problems, but little discussed in a city obsessively concerned with development and growth economic.

The discussion will take place starting at 18.00 at Londohome, 31 General David Praporgescu Street.

We are looking forward to seeing you at the event!
