Training program designed for trade union leaders and organizers.
The Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Romania organized the training program "Union Power in Action: Strategies and Good Practices" from September 27 to 29, 2024, in Predeal. This program was designed for trade union leaders and organizers.
The event was held in collaboration with the UNI GLOBAL Centre for Union Organizing in South-East Europe (UNI-SEEOC). Training workshops were led by Marcel Spatari (Syndex Romania), Paula Cârlan (Cartel Alfa), Ruxandra Empen (German Embassy), and Florentin Iancu, Maria Stoian, and Viorel Vlad (UNI-SEEOC).
Participants, including trade union leaders and organizers from both the public and private sectors, had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of legal frameworks, organizational structures, and decision-making processes within trade unions. The program also provided a platform to discuss strategies and examples of good practices in trade union action.
