Young Progressive Leaders

The project will bring together about 20 participants who will address issues such as: combating poverty, ensuring gender equality, formulating a progressive agenda in the era of digital capitalism, the transition to a green economy that respects the principle of social justice, etc.

Conditions for participation

Anyone between the ages of 20 and 35 can participate by submitting a CV and a topic proposal that they would like to develop during the training program. The proposal should provide relevant information on the problem identified, analyze its implications and end with a suggestion of possible solutions to the problem. The proposal must have 1 page (Times New Roman, 12, 1 line) and be sent to the email address stangademocratic(at)gmail.com by February 28, 2021.

• Labor / unions / power relations within companies
• Social benefits in Romania
• Rights of ethnic / sexual minorities, etc.
• Women's rights / gender studies
• Health
• The transition to a green econom
• Digitization of the economy and the public sector.

Opportunities in the project

Within the "Young Progressive Leaders" project, participants will be able to:

• Learn from the best in their fields (university professors, experts or politicians);
• Meet a lot of people with whom to put their ideas and projects into practice;
• Participates in the events and projects of the "Democratic Left Foundation" and "Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung";
• Understands better the structural problems of Romania;

Be part of a group of Alumni that will be formed at the end of the project and with which we will remain in permanent contact.
