Zeitenwende one year after. Understanding Germany’s new foreign policy outlines

One year after the Russian attack on Ukraine, there is no end in sight to the war. The conflict comes with massive military, economic and political challenges for Kyiv and for its Western supporters. With its reluctance to lead on European security, Germany’s position and leadership role have been subject to criticism from its allies.
