"Europe After the European Parliament Elections: Implications for Romania". Martin Schulz in Dialogue with SNSPA Students

On Thursday, June 13, 2024, Martin Schulz, President of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Foundation, will deliver a lecture at the National School of Political and Administrative Studies (SNSPA) on the topic "Europe After the European Parliament Elections: Implications for Romania."

On June 9, citizens of the 27 Member States of the European Union will elect their representatives to the European Parliament. This election will significantly impact the ability of the world's largest union of democratic states to defend its values and interests amidst increasing global power rivalries.

During this event, we will examine what the new political composition of the European Parliament reveals about the future of the European Union. Additionally, we will discuss the internal challenges Europe must address to restore citizens' trust in their shared home.

We invite you to join this debate, where we will explore prospects and solutions for a stronger and more united European Union. The event will be moderated by Prof. Remus Pricopie, Rector of SNSPA.

Following the lecture, there will be an interactive question and answer session.
