Integration of gender equality in the classroom at pre-university education

Two round tables will be organized, the first in Cluj-Napoca on November 29, the second in Bucharest on December 6, addressed to teachers, those responsible for promoting equal opportunities in schools, representatives of county school inspectorates and other specialists and practitioners in the field of education, with a focus on the pre-university level.

The starting point of the discussions will be " Predarea și integrarea egalității de gen la clasă. Manual pentru profesori” (Teaching and integrating gender equality in the classroom. Manual for teachers) (external link: https://ongen.ro/2022/09/07/manual-egalitate-de-gen/), a support material for teachers, both theoretical and applied, developed by experts from The Coalition for Gender Equality, as well as presentations of analyzes - from a gender perspective - regarding the current school programs and the training offer of the Teaching Corps Houses (CCD) and Departments for the Training of Teaching Personnel (DPPD) in the country.
